All Hallows' Church, Tillington supports a number of charities ranging from international to local.
International
Tearfund
Tearfund is a Christian charity which supports communities in developing countries through aid and by stimulating fair trade. All Hallows has a direct link through its “Connected Church” Project with the Choma and Kalomo districts in southern Zambia, where it helps to fund boreholes for drinking water and agriculture, improved sanitation and promotion of better health and hygiene practices. This also has the knock on effect of enabling children, especially girls, to go to school instead of collecting water every day.
Charities Supported
Tillington also supports sales of high quality “Created” fair trade craft products and holds exhibitions of products from time to time. For dates contact 01798 342827.Gifts are available by mail order from

Flame International
Flame International is a UK based charity that takes teams of volunteers into war-torn and suffering communities, adding to the valuable work of traditional aid and relief agencies by bringing healing of the emotional and spiritual damage caused by bloodshed, conflict, poverty and oppression. It has been particularly involved in the African sub continent, impressing on distraught peoples the importance of forgiveness. One of the founder members of Flame, Jan Ransom, spoke at All Hallows earlier in the summer. Watch the videos on www.flameinternational.org and be amazed.

National
The Children’s Society
The Children's Society is a leading children's charity committed to making childhood better for all children in the UK. It takes action to prevent abuse, and to rescue and support children facing life trapped in a vicious circle of fear and harm. The work of the Society is supported though a number of charitable events in and around Tillington, including an Autumn Lunch, directly by collection boxes, and through the annual Christingle Service held in December at All Hallows' Church.
